Part of LVMH Group's selective retailing division, DFS is the leading luxury Travel Retailer.
Headquartered in Hong-Kong, its network consists of around 420 boutiques located in 11 major airports and 20 Dowtown T Galleria stores.
T Galleria stores are a unique concept to DFS; they are a hybrid between a mall and a department store, mixing luxury boutiques, multibrand fashion areas, massive Beauty sections, extensive Watches & Jewelry selection, and a range of fine food and liquors.
Gallerias can be found in Australia, Cambodia, China, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, Singapore, USA and Vietnam.
DFS Group employs 9,000 people, operating in 14 countries worldwide. In 2017, nearly 160 million travellers visited DFS Stores.
As a Merchandise Manager for Ready-To-Wear and Multi-brands, my role was to improve the existing multi-brand offer, by improving the brand & product selection, but also the store layout and design. The multi-brand stores were expected to bring newer and fresher brands to the DFS offer, and to add more Ready-to-Wear to get higher Fashion credibility.
During my time at DFS, I reviewed all the assortment by location and increased the Sell-Through by 30%. I also introduced 25 new brands (mostly RTW) and managed the opening of 5 new multi-brand stores in the network.
VENICE T GALLERIA FONDACO DEI TEDESCHI
The T Galleria Fondaco Dei Tedeschi is the latest Galleria opened by DFS.
Located right next to the Rialto Bridge, this historical building used to be home of the Italian post office.
It has been converted into one of the World's most beautiful department stores.
Laid out around a central square patio, the store is made of plenty of small rooms housing brands boutiques or multi-brand spaces.
The brands I had under my responsibility in Venice were Moncler, Zegna, Versace, Kenzo, Paul Smith and Comme Des Garcons.
I also managed the opening of the new Moncler Women Boutique, the Emporio Armani corner and the Paul & Shark Pop-up.

MACAU T GALLERIA CITY OF DREAMS
The DFS T Galleria is the unique retail offer in the City Of Dreams complex. The complex also boasts a Casino, the brand new Morpheus Hotel (designed by late Zaha Hadid), and is home to the world-renown "House of Dancing Waters" show.
The Fashion Retail offer is made of the best luxury brands boutiques on two floors (Women on the ground floor, Men on first floor), with a recent addition of Multibrand offer.

MONCLER AT DFS
Moncler is an Italian brand of luxury ready to wear, known for its down jackets.
When I joined DFS, Moncler only had one store in Macau City Of Dreams and one in Venice.
In less than 2 years, we opened 5 new stores in Macau, Guam, Sydney, Venice, and Auckland and confirmed 7 more.
The turnover of the brand got multiplied by 7 year-on-year.
